Mr. Meats Carnicería & Tacos is preparing to open in Phoenix near 43rd Avenue and Roosevelt Street, according to posts on the company’s Instagram account.

Photos shared by the business show a “coming soon” banner outside the storefront. Mr. Meats has not released an exact address or opening date for the Phoenix location.

Owner Edgar Guerrero also operates Mr. Meats Carniceria & Market at 1933 E. University Dr. in Mesa.

At the Mesa store, shoppers can purchase beef, poultry, pork, fresh produce, Mexican groceries, pastries, and cakes. Its prepared-food counter serves tacos, burritos, carnitas, and other dishes. The location also sells beer and offers money-transfer services.

The Phoenix account identifies the new business as both a carnicería and a taco shop. The company has not said whether the Phoenix store will also include groceries, a bakery, and money-transfer services.
