According to a recent permit filing, Ba Mee will open its doors in the Boise area at 4120 N Williams Avenue.
A representative of Ba Mee was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Portland’s request.
While an official opening date and overall information on Ba Mee is limited, according to the permit filing, the planned days of operation will be every day from 11 AM to 10 PM, including outdoor service.
According to Crexi, the property is described as a turnkey restaurant and is now marked as off the market for lease after being on the market for 242 days. The space is stated to be a “second-generation restaurant space,” and approximately 1,800 square feet.
Additionally, Crexi describes the space as “offering a light-filled dining area with tall ceilings that create a warm and inviting atmosphere.” Directly on the corner of North Williams and North Mason, it is said to be a highly visible location that holds outdoor seating with two roll-up doors.
The name “Ba Mee” itself translates to “egg noodles.” Typically served in what has been described as a comforting and aromatic broth, Ba Mee noodles are often accompanied by a combination of proteins, fresh vegetables, and herbs.
