A new French-American restaurant with themes of wine will soon be coming to the proposed shopping area called The Forge.
According to The Forge marketing team, the two restaurants that will be coming to the area are Clink, the French-American restaurant, and Dreamies Creamery, which is based in Dallas. Clink will feature chef of Spanish restaurant Cozy Taberna, Brittni Armenta. She is known for specializing in fresh, and local flavors.
The Forge shopping area is being built at 285 Liberty Street NE, formerly the Liberty Plaza. This is near downtown Salem and is close to The Cozy Taberna. There is also Straight From New York Pizza, as well as See’s Candies and Gold Crown Chinese Restaurant.
While the menu is not known as of yet, some French cuisine like croissants and crepes are showcased. There are also different kinds of cocktails to be brought to the space.
The restaurant is advertised as being women-led, and it will have a “sip society”, which is a group that organizes regular meetups and clubs while enjoying the wine. The owner and founder is Sheena Nash, who is also the owner of Beyond the Bloom Farm and Floral in Aumsville.
The business is listed as coming in 2025, but there is not yet an estimated date of opening.
