The owner of Swift Lounge and Vegan Junk Food will soon be opening a new venture, Sit Tite, located at 6214 N Interstate Avenue confirmed by the owner himself, Robert Thomas.

“We’re shooting for an opening date of September, but it’s hard to tell with liquor licensing wait times and other permitting needs,” Thomas told What Now Portland, “Customers can look forward to pinball machines, video games, a lively atmosphere with live DJs, and a menu inspired by DJ Smith that will feature fun cocktails.”

While the menu offerings have yet to be confirmed overall, it is still in the process by one of Robert’s partners with Sit Tite, DJ Smith. As of now, it is looking to be more of a sandwich-focused menu, with creative cocktail options.

Behind Thomas is over ten years of the Swift Lounge being open, described by locals as a small space that serves drinks in mason jars with more sophisticated American-style menu options, with the additional highlight of nightly DJs. Vegan Junk Food, Thomas’s second venture, is described as “a lively fast-casual spot in the heart of Portland, Oregon, offering a lighthearted take on vegan comfort food keeping the planet in mind,” according to the company website.
