Ratchet Brewery will soon open another location in Gervais, located at 13501 River Road NE, confirmed by its co-owner Dan Miletta.
“We are trying to open as soon as possible, depending on the licensing and LLC will determine when we are able to be up and running,” Miletta told What Now Portland.
“This location will be replacing our production facility that closed in February over in Silverton due to the building being sold. Our main goal is to be able to get the facility up and running for our wholesale sales, and hopefully, within the next few years we will be able to open a tasting room as well.”
“The new location is on a working farm, with peach and apple orchards surrounding us. It’s a bit secluded, and when the taproom portion would open, we would likely do outdoor seating only and would have it be seasonal.”
Ratchet Brewery’s original location is currently open in Salem and has been open for a little over a year. Dan told What Now Portland that this location had moved from what was previously a smaller industrial space of around 1,300 square feet to what is now their current location, a 4,000 square-foot taproom with a taco truck on the patio.
Besides the wide array of menu options from alcoholic beverages to taco truck options, Ratchet Brewery also provides a unique aesthetic. When going to their Salem location, patrons can enjoy the bar that is made out of glider wings, for example. Ratchet is also conveniently located near iWingz, if looking for an additional food option to match your drink of choice.
