Sizzle Pie is soon expanding to the Concordia area with its tenth location, located at 5440 NE 33rd Avenue, confirmed by co-founder Matt Jacobson.
“We are planning to open sometime this year. With the grand opening of our Hillsboro location tomorrow, our main focus has been there, but we are excited to wrap up the finishing touches and open our doors,” Jacobson told What Now Portland.
According to the company’s website, Sizzle Pie firmly believes that pizza is a delight meant to be savored by all. Their establishment proudly combines the rich flavors of East Coast-style slices and pies with a vibrant West Coast flair. With a diverse range of meat, veggie, and vegan options, they transform the freshest, highest-quality ingredients into classic favorites and daring pizza creations.
Their mission statement is guided by four principles. These principles are crafting with love and sharing with the community, hosting a unique pizza experience, celebrating their success, and noting the dream that was born as Sizzle Pie, created by friendship and passion.
Sizzle Pie’s journey began with a bond forged over pizza. Founders Matt Jacobson and Mikey McKennedy shared a vision of an independent pizzeria that not only served incredible slices but also fostered an inclusive pizza party atmosphere, welcoming everyone every day and night of the year. In 2011, this dream became a reality on East Burnside Street in Portland, where their very first location took root. Since then, they’ve expanded their pizza party attitude, spreading joy and deliciousness throughout Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, and Reno.
