A burger truck known for serving at farmers markets in and around Northwest Oregon is seeking a permanent location.
According to The Mashed Burger owner Andrew Keels, he and his team are in the process of nailing down a set location for the restaurant. The food truck has been around for a few years and has served at local concerts and community events. They would be staying in the East County/Gresham area near Portland.
Specialty burgers served include the bacon mushroom jalapeno swiss and cowboy burger. Along with their specialty smash burgers, the food truck offers onion rings, fries with cheese, bacon, jalapenos and mushrooms. According to their Instagram, the menu is always changing, with revolving items like the BBQ burger and bourgeois white truffle burger.
Another way Mashed Burger is involved with the community is through fundraisers. Tomorrow, on June 21, they are participating in a cornhole tournament for the Barlow Baseball program. This starts at 5 p.m. at 5105 SE 302nd Avenue in Gresham.
Right now, there is not a timeline for when Keels and his team will get a permanent location in the area. There have been various hurdles to jump through at the city level, but he is hoping to find an address in the coming weeks.
