GolfTRK, a membership-based indoor golf training concept, is planning to open two locations in the Portland area. Both are listed as coming soon on their website. The expansion follows the brand’s first Oregon facility, which is already open in Springfield. The Portland sites are marked one on west downtown and another one east of the Willamette River, though neither has an announced address yet.
The golf training facility is built for golfers who want to improve rather than for casual entertainment, which sets it apart from bar-and-food indoor golf venues. Members train in climate-controlled simulator bays equipped with TrackMan launch monitors, which track swing and ball data. The facilities also feature the PuttView augmented-reality putting green. Beyond membership access, GolfTRK offers PGA-certified coaching, club fitting, leagues and clinics. Retail is limited to branded merchandise and a curated selection of gear rather than a full pro shop.
The Oregon debut is in the Eugene-Springfield area at 3000 Gateway St., in the Shoppes at Gateway redevelopment. It’s about 3,400 square feet with five simulator bays and a PuttView green. The Portland locations would extend the brand’s reach to Oregon’s largest market, where the rainy season keeps golfers off the course for months.
The company was founded by Alex Reed, Matt Williams and Sam Collins in the Kansas City area, where it opened its first location in Lenexa in August 2023. That facility sold out of memberships within four months, which led the founders to expand through franchising. The brand now has locations across Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Nebraska and Oregon. More than 60 franchise units have been sold or are in development, and the company has said it aims to reach 35 to 40 locations within a year.
