Candy Cloud is getting ready to bring its colorful lineup of specialty drinks and sweet treats to New Braunfels. Franchisees Ché and Andrew Zimmerman are behind the upcoming shop at 2830 Town Center Dr., Suite 110, New Braunfels, adding the growing beverage concept to Town Center at Creekside.
According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing, the approximately 1,667-square-foot space is being converted into a Candy Cloud specialty drink shop. Construction is expected to begin in October, with the project currently targeting completion in February 2027.
Candy Cloud offers a playful mix of specialty coffees, boba, smoothies, lemonades, energy drinks, soft serve and sweet treats. According to the brand’s website, its menu includes layered lattes, fresh-fruit smoothies, ReVibe energy drinks and other colorful creations designed for quick-service customers.
The concept began in 2019 when founders Alex and Paityn Edwards started with a flower truck before expanding into cotton candy and Hawaiian shave ice. According to Candy Cloud, its beverage business eventually became the foundation for the first storefront, which opened in 2022. The company has since developed the concept into a franchise opportunity.
The Zimmermans are already connected to the Candy Cloud brand in Texas, with the company listing a San Antonio location operated by the franchise team. Their New Braunfels location will bring the concept into another growing Central Texas community.
While Candy Cloud has not announced an official grand-opening date yet, the current construction timeline points toward a 2027 debut. Once open, the New Braunfels location will give locals a new spot for coffee, boba, specialty drinks and something sweet at Town Center at Creekside.
