Chicken Salad Chick is preparing to open a new location in Victoria, according to recently filed project documents with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

The fast-casual restaurant concept, founded in Auburn, Alabama, is known for its signature variety of made-from-scratch chicken salad flavours, along with fresh sandwiches, soups, salads, and Southern-inspired sides. The brand has expanded across the U.S. by offering a cafeteria-style service model focused on quick, casual dining with a homestyle feel.

The upcoming restaurant will be located at 9109 N. Navarro Street, Suite #500, within Victoria County. The project, listed under TABS2026021690, outlines plans for a 2,910-square-foot interior finish-out featuring a full kitchen and restrooms.

Construction is scheduled to begin on June 22, 2026, with completion expected by August 28, 2026. The project carries an estimated construction cost of $517,231 and is privately funded for private use.

According to filings, the tenant is listed as Tanya Johnson, while Victoria Exchange Development, LP is the property owner. The interior build-out is being designed by 1Architecture, LLC.

Chicken Salad Chick will join the growing retail and dining offerings along N. Navarro Street in Victoria, bringing its popular Southern-style menu to the area.
