A new Pure Green location is in the works for Northwest San Antonio, bringing the health-focused juice bar concept to The MERC shopping center near the University of Texas at San Antonio.
According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), plans call for the interior renovation of an existing vacant suite at 5734 UTSA Blvd., Suite 101B, to accommodate a new 1,115-square-foot Pure Green. The project carries an estimated construction cost of $200,000.
Construction is scheduled to begin on August 15, 2026, with completion targeted for November 15, 2026.
Project documents describe the scope of work as the interior renovation of an existing tenant space into a counter-service food facility specializing in juices and bowls. No food will be cooked on-site.
Property records list Shops at the Merc LLC as the property owner, while Q Architecture + Design is serving as the project’s design firm.
