Aritzia, the Vancouver-based fashion retailer known for its elevated everyday womenswear, is heading to The Forum Carlsbad, an open-air shopping center in North County, according to the center’s website. The mall is located at 1923 Calle Barcelona in Carlsbad, California.

Founded in Vancouver in 1984, Aritzia has built its brand around refined everyday fashion, combining clean lines, quality fabrics and understated sophistication across its portfolio of in-house brands.

What Now San Diego reached out to Aritzia representatives to inquire about the opening timeline but did not receive a response before press time.

The upcoming store would add to Aritzia’s continued retail expansion. According to FashionUnited, the company has been growing its boutique network, opening new locations and upgrading existing stores.

What Now New York has also covered the retailer’s planned Columbus Circle location in New York City. What Now Houston also covered a $9 million renovation and expansion of its Houston Galleria boutique. The Houston project is expected to expand the store to nearly 20,000 square feet.

The brand already operates stores at San Diego’s Fashion Valley and Westfield UTC locations. The Forum Carlsbad store would bring its boutique experience to North County shoppers, including those in Carlsbad, Encinitas and Oceanside.
