According to a recently submitted permit application, Delarosa — “beloved for its Roman-style pizza, small plates, craft beer, Italian and Californian wines, and delicious craft cocktails,” according to its website — is preparing to open a new location in Palo Alto.

Coming to 660 Stanford Shopping Center, the restaurant will land near establishments such as La Baguette, Pacific Catch, and The Melt.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Adriano Paganini, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the restaurateur, Paganini has been “crowned ‘the anti-snob of the San Francisco Food Scene’ by San Francisco magazine,” according to his LinkedIn.

His restaurant group Back of the House is behind concepts including Belga, Beretta, El Techo de Lolinda, Lolinda, Starbelly, Super Duper Burger, and Uno Dos Tacos.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so follow Delarosa on Facebook for updates.
