According to a recently submitted permit application, craft brewpub chain Fieldwork Brewing is opening a new taproom in Santa Rosa.
Coming to 2400 Midway Drive, the eatery will land near establishments such as Avid Coffee, the bakery Boudin, and the Italian restaurant Tomatina.
“We looked at a number of opportunities in Santa Rosa, but the uncertainty of the pandemic years had us press pause on expansion,” CEO Barry Braden tells The Press Democrat. He adds, “But 2025 and 2026 will see us opening additional locations in California. We’re really excited and proud of our ability to expand into Santa Rosa.”
For readers who are unfamiliar with Fieldwork Brewing, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “Founded in 2014, Fieldwork Brewing Company is a craft brewery headquartered in Berkeley, CA, with a focus on exceptional, honest beer making… Guests can expect an ever-changing tap list of fresh releases to enjoy by sampler flight or by the glass. Fresh beer “to go” is available in 16 oz cans.”
Fieldwork presently operates taprooms in Berkeley, Corte Madera, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Leandro, San Mateo, and San Ramon.
What Now San Francisco reached out to Braden to inquire about his plans for the upcoming locale, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
