According to Palo Alto Online, Popular Santa Clara eatery Orenchi Ramen — located at 3540 Homestead Road, near eateries such as La Casa Mia, Savers, and Subway — has changed hands.

“We had great moments with Orenchi,” the concept’s former owner, Kuniko Ozawa, tells the publication.

She continues, “It’s about time because there’s so many other great new ramen places. I think Orenchi’s golden days were over. After COVID, I felt like we were just running it because it makes money. But in the true feelings, I think I was done with it.”

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, Orenchi Ramen opened its first outpost in Santa Clara in 2010, and at one point, operated four outposts across the Bay Area.

The new owners are Yasu Yamamoto and Masato Arimitsu — the restaurateurs behind Rokko Restaurant, Ramen Seas, Fugetsu Market, Dan Izakaya Restaurant, Kahoo Ramen, and Curry Life.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Arimitsu to inquire about his plans for the eatery, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
