According to Mercury NewsRaising Cane’s is expanding in the Bay Area — planning to debut a new outpost in Hayward this summer.

Coming to the Hayward Center at 26231 Mission Boulevard, the eatery will land near establishments such as CVS, Eco Thrift, and Haymont Park.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Raising Cane’s to inquire about the expansion, but representatives could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, based on the company’s existing business model, Hayward locals can expect a fast-casual dining experience that revolves around hand-battered chicken tenders, crinkle-cut fries, buttered toast, and iced tea.

This will mark the chain’s third outpost in the Bay Area — joining locations in Oakland and Vacaville, as well as an upcoming spot in San Jose.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
