A new eatery, NO|MA House, is coming to 1429 Main Street in St. Helena, near Napa Valley Coffee Roasting Company, The Model Bakery, and Woodhouse Chocolate.
While little is known about NO|MA House at this time, its owner, Annmarie Ernish-Backen, is also the founder of DOOR, “a lifestyle brand that celebrates the exploration of the intersections of design, community, and cuisine — all through a holistic lens.”
According to the DOOR website, the brand was created “as a complementary brand” to Backen & Gillam, the architectural firm of Annmarie’s husband, Howard Backen — of which Annmarie serves as Chief Strategy Officer and Life Style Design Department Head.
According to the NO|MA House Instagram page, the eatery is slated to open in winter 2023.
