Blade & Timber is transitioning into Recess at 206 Broadway E. in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, according to Capitol Hill Seattle.
The venue remains open during the transition. Recess will keep axe throwing and add darts, billiards, and retro arcade games, with the arcade available through an unlimited-play wristband.
The venue will also have a cocktail bar serving classic cocktails, local pours, and wine. It will have a private event space that can accommodate up to 120 people.
Dru Agarwal, who owns the Broadway building, will be part of the local ownership group behind the concept. Recess also operates in Lawrence, Kansas, where the venue includes axe throwing, mini golf, darts, arcade games, and other activities.
No exact date for the full transition has been announced. Recess already lists the Capitol Hill location on its website and describes the Seattle concept as a place for games, cocktails, and late nights.
