This September, just in time for the onset of fall nostalgia, Bogey’s Tavern will open in Largo, at 300 E Bay Dr, Suite B.

Details are limited on the new bar for the moment, but an evocative description provided on the Bogey’s Tavern’s website gives us a general idea:

“Bogey’s Tavern—where the golden age of golf meets the timeless intrigue of the Prohibition era. Inspired by the classic taverns and speakeasies of the 1930s and ’40s, and nodding to legends like Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen, Bogey’s blends vintage style with elevated comfort food in a setting that’s equal parts nostalgic and modern.”

The menu, which will be “packed with flavor,” will feature dishes ranging “from maple-bourbon glazed salmon and chimichurri hanger steak to North Atlantic cod, lollipop lamb chops, NY strip, filet mignon, and brick-pressed chicken—plus salads, flatbreads, burgers, and pasta.”

Sounds good to us!

Opening in the Bay Drive location, the new bar and restaurant will be situated just across Second Avenue Northeast from Hampton Inn & Suites.

“We’ll offer indoor and outdoor dining, a private room available for special events, and live acoustic music throughout the week,” the website adds. “Menus will be available for lunch, dinner, happy hour and our Sunday brunch.”
