Beloved across the country for its legendary Butterburgers and frozen custard, Culver’s has grown to well over a thousand restaurants, and its growth is continuing in the Florida market. A new location now appears to be in the works for Weeki Wachee.

Plan review documents submitted by S&L Companies, a Culver’s franchisee, show a new Culver’s opening at 9293 Commercial Way in Weeki Wachee (Google Maps places this address in Brooksville.)

Culver’s Butterburgers come in varieties like the Bacon Deluxe, “with layers of real Wisconsin cheese and crisp bacon,” and the Culver’s Deluxe, with Wisconsin cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion, and Culver’s signature mayo.

And it’s not just burgers: there are chicken sandwiches and tenders, plus seafood sandwiches and dinners like the Butterfly Jumbo Shrimp Dinner and the North Atlantic Cod Dinner. Then, of course, there’s Culver’s Frozen Custard, which comes in the form of sundaes like the Banana Split and the Turtle Sundae; shakes, in flavors like Chocolate Malt, Mint, Peanut Butter, and Salted Caramel; and Concrete Mixers.

“As locally owned and operated restaurants, Culver’s has earned its reputation for deliciousness by serving the freshest ingredients to guests, with unmatched hometown hospitality,” says the Culver’s Facebook page. “Fresh, never frozen burgers are always cooked to order, and premium, better-than-ice-cream, fresh frozen custard is made in small batches throughout the day, every day. Welcome to delicious!”
