With locations in Tampa and Brandon, Himes Breakfast House is preparing to open a third location in the Tampa Bay area and provide even more people with “good friends and good food.”
“Meet. Eat. Repeat,” the restaurant’s website enjoins prospective guests. “Himes Breakfast House pays homage to the spirit of good friends and good food. We set out to create an environment where everyone knows your name. Where eating out is about more than just great food, but the friends we make and the memories we create along the way.”
The menu features classic egg-focused breakfast plates, along with specialties like Country Fried Steak (down south country fried steak with sausage gravy and two eggs served with toast or biscuit), the Jessie Bowl (two eggs over a large bowl of Jessies famous loaded grits with toast or biscuit), and the Lumberjack Bowl (our home fries topped with thick cut bacon, sausage, scallions, cheddar jack cheeses and sausage gravy with two eggs on top).
The brand was founded by owners John and Jessica Christen.
What Now confirmed news of an opening in Riverview with John Christen on Tuesday. Christen was not immediately available to discuss the opening further.
