One of the truly iconic American fast food brands, Wendy’s is an absolute behemoth, having reached 5,945 locations as of February 11, 2025.
“At Wendy’s, we’re all about serving up fresh food, even if it means going the extra mile,” says the Who We Are page on the Wendy’s website. “When you walk through our doors, we do what we can to make everyone feel at home because our family extends through your community.”
And now that already massive nationwide family is growing, as a new Wendy’s is in the works in Palmetto. Plan review paperwork was submitted showing a new Wendy’s planned for 8215 Moccasin Way. (The paperwork places that address in Parrish, Google Maps in Palmetto.”
The Wendy’s menu currently features combos like the 10 Pc. Saucy Nuggs Combo, the classic burger-and-fries Dave’s Combo, the Baconator Combo, and the Classic Chicken Sandwich Combo. But if Wendy’s was part of your childhood, you may most memorably associate it with the Frosty milkshake (and if you used to dunk fries in them, you’re not alone).
Behind the Palmetto/Parrish location is multi-concept franchisee Tim Cloe. What Now reached out to Cloe on to on Friday to ask about plans a Wendy’s opening on Moccasin Way. Cloe was not immediately available for comment.
