Qwelli plans to open its first Toronto location in Etobicoke at CF Sherway Gardens, according to INsauga. The company has not announced an opening date.
Founded in 1987, Qwelli is a family-owned gelato company led by siblings Caroline Beetz and Jean-François Beetz, who represent the family’s second generation in the business. The company operates its own production facility and has locations across Montreal and other parts of Quebec.
Qwelli offers more than 40 gelato and vegan sorbet flavors. Customers can order individual flavors or combine them in cups, cones, and shakes.
The menu includes familiar choices such as vanilla, milk chocolate, and mint chocolate, along with matcha, coffee almond fudge, banana caramel crunch, Dubai chocolate, and other rotating options. Sorbet flavors include fruit combinations and dairy-free selections.
Qwelli also makes gelato bars, cakes, pies, and take-home tubs.
What Now Toronto reached out to Qwelli for additional information about the Sherway Gardens opening, and this article may be updated as more details become available.
