Cafe Mexicali is expanding its Colorado footprint with plans to open its first Denver restaurant at AMLI Broadway Park.

The fast-casual restaurant will be at 357 S. Bannock Street, according to Naked Denver. It states that the restaurant is planning a 4,013-square-foot buildout that will include a full kitchen, bar and a 24-seat outdoor patio.

Lim Holdings LLC is listed as the operator.

Cafe Mexicali first opened its doors in Fort Collins in 2005. The owners are Rick Krammer and David Hoffman. Cafe Mexicali has built its brand around fresh, made-from-scratch Mexican fare.
The menu features house-made sauces, meats, beans and tortillas prepared using high-quality ingredients.

Cafe Mexicali currently has six locations with a presence in Fort Collins, Greeley, Windsor, Boulder and Johnstown. The planned restaurant would represent the brand’s Denver debut.

WhatNow Media Group has contacted Cafe Mexicali owners but could not get back at the time of publication.
