In a development certain to inspire excitement among DC foodies, the team behind beloved French staple La Bonne Vache is gearing up for its next great culinary adventure-a Basque restaurant called Beso Bisou. The new concept will begin serving customers later this year.

Beso Bisou is setting up shop at 1228 31st Street NW. The restaurant has an Instagram page up and live, and while it does not yet have any posts, the social media hub does provide a few salient details regarding Beso Bisou.

The  eatery promises to deliver “Spanish soul, French vibes. Pintxos, seafood & coastal romance”-an alluring enough prospect on its own, even without factoring in the talent behind the project. La Bonne Vache is incredibly highly regarded, with Modern Luxury awarding it the title of “best lunch spot” in DC for 2026. The owners are certain to put as much care and dedication into Beso Bisou.

The restaurant does not have a precise opening date yet, however the Instagram page assures future regulars that Beso Bisou will be ready to serve them this fall.
