What could be better than April in Paris? This year, the answer will be May in Loudoun, thanks to local hospitality rockstars Chef Michael Stebner and his partner in romance and business Allyson and their newest concept Brasserie Royale, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The French restaurant will be moving into the Cascades Marketplace, in the storefront next door to the Stebner’s other hit concept, Local Provisions. Construction is underway on the 2,500 square foot space 46290 Cranston Street.

The Stebners hope to combine a high-end and superior dining experience with warm atmosphere and cozy ambiance for their latest project. Stebner previously described his intentions for Brasserie Royale to Northern Virginia Magazine, saying “With the brasserie, we want it to be fun; we don’t want it to be a French restaurant that is so serious — sometimes with French food you fall into that lane. We want it to be lighthearted and not take itself too seriously.”

Future regulars can look forward to a refined but inviting menu. The company website describes what’s in store, saying it will feature “Classic cocktails, freshly baked breads, chilled shellfish, french onion soup, steak frites, escargot, roast chicken, homemade ice creams”.

While a precise opening date is not yet available, the Stebners are hoping to be customer-ready by late May.
