An upcoming Loudoun shopping center is garnering excitement with the signing of a new restaurant tenant. Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant will be joining the Shops at Arcola, bringing “modern casual dining” to the area, reports local media outlet The Burn.
Construction has not yet begun on the retail center, which will be located off Loudoun County Parkway at Dulles West Boulevard. The SJC Ventures website shows that Cooper’s Hawk will be occupying a 11,212 square foot storefront. The Shops at Arcola will ultimately span 86,545 square feet, however only two tenants are signed on to date-Cooper’s Hawk and an as-of-yet unnamed organic grocery store that is strongly speculated to be Whole Foods.
Unfortunately for Loudoun locals eager to sink their teeth into Cooper’s Hawk’s fare, it is too early in the development process to predict an opening timeline. However, as construction has not yet begun on the Shops at Arcola, future customers are certainly going to need to exercise some patience.
Cooper’s Hawk is not an absolute stranger to the region; the concept has locations open in Ashburn and Reston. Local foodies are bound to embrace the restaurant whenever it opens its doors-the website offers this enticing glimpse of what’s in store: “Our culinary team has designed a contemporary American menu infused with flavors from around the world. Each dish is made fresh in our scratch kitchen, incorporating peak-of-season ingredients, and listed with a bin number to guide you to your selection’s perfect wine match.”
