Gaithersburg diners are one step closer to enjoying the distinctive and delicious fare of an area favorite. Angelo’s Pizza, Pasta, and Deli has received its building permit, an important advancement in the restaurant’s journey, reports MoCo Show.

The recently attained $200,000 building permit is a large step forward for Angelo’s second location. The restaurant’s new storefront will be opening as a part of the North Pointe at Flower Hill mixed-use center, located at 18251 Flower Hill Way. It will be joined in the development by PJ’s Coffee, Plaza Mexico, Oak Barrel & Vine, and Inspire Nail Bar.

While the promise of construction on the horizon is a positive step for Angelo’s, it does not provide a precise opening timeline. It does, however, assure locals that forward momentum is occurring, and the concept’s cuisine is coming in the not-too-distant future.

Angelo’s already has one location open and operational in Rockville. It has become an area favorite thanks to its commitment to crafting high-quality dishes; the website explains: “Our dough is prepared fresh every single day. Our sauces are made from scratch, and we source the finest cheeses and toppings we can find. Each pizza is crafted to deliver that perfect balance of flavor in every bite.”
