Kusshi Sushi is on a roll. The beloved restaurant is continuing to expand its local empire, with a new location planned for Prince George’s County, reports local media outlet MoCo Show.
Kusshi Sushi will be opening at 4501 Woodberry Street as a part of The Station at Riverdale Park. The concept is bringing its signature modern Japanese cuisine to the restaurant space that housed Le Fantome Food Hall until its closure last April.
According to the Station at Riverdale Park website, locals will be able to sink their teeth into Kusshi Sushi’s fare before the year is over. The site states that the concept should be customer ready by November 30.
Kusshi Sushi has been enjoying an eventful year; the concept has another location currently in development in Bethesda, alongside a gestating Germantown restaurant.
Kusshi Sushi has become an area favorite thanks to its delicious cuisine and welcoming atmosphere; as the website explains: “We specialize in modern Japanese cuisine. Come check out the area’s largest selection of sake and whisky in our lively atmosphere.”
