Montgomery County is getting ready to welcome a new home for cost-effective but fashionable clothing. Construction is underway on an upcoming J. Crew Factory location set to open in Gaithersburg later this year, reports local media outlet MoCo Show.

The clothing store is moving into the 20 Grand Corner Avenue, Suite A space that previously housed FineWine.com. J. Crew Factory is joining the Rio Lakefront retail center, and construction has commenced, bringing the concept closer to its projected late autumn opening.

The Rio Lakefront store will be J. Crew Factory’s third in Montgomery County, joining already opened locations in Rockville and the Clarksburg Premium Outlets. The concept has become a favorite among shoppers, thanks in part to its approach to its business, described as: “We think shopping should be fun. Actually, really fun. As in scoring our exclusive collection of colorful, classic styles at prices that can’t be beat. A fan of lots of options in amazing fits? You’ve got it. Looking for some great accessories you won’t find anywhere else? Check. Need to get dressed for a day at the office, a weekend get-together or your next family vacation?
