Florida-based breakfast chain Another Broken Egg Café reportedly has two more Charleston-area restaurants on the way.

The cafe’s website advertises a location at 1125 Savannah Highway in the Whole Foods-anchored West Ashley Station as “Coming Soon,” while WCBD News 2 recently reported that the café chain will be joining the forthcoming Uptown Carnes Crossroads development in Goose Creek.

The breakfast and brunch restaurant was founded in Mandeville, Louisiana in 1996 as the Broken Egg Café, with the second location in Destin becoming the first “Another Broken Egg.” The chain has since expanded nationwide with more than 80 locations across 15 states, and the number continues to grow. That includes seven South Carolina locations and two existing Charleston-area locations, in Downtown Charleston’s City Market and in Mount Pleasant at Belle Hall Shopping Center.

Both forthcoming locations are still under construction, with no official opening dates available. Other Uptown Carnes tenants have set a tentative opening timeline for Summer 2024.
