A permit has been filed with the city for Mission Valley Breakfast Company. The restaurant joins the lineup from Champions of Brunch, Rise and Shine Hospitality Group. They operate all-star breakfast spots like Breakfast Republic, The Fig Tree Cafe, and Gaslamp Breakfast Company.
The new address will be located in the Rio Vista Shopping Center, next to TJ Maxx & HomeGoods. An opening date has yet to be released but San Diego Brunch fans can likely expect the same menu offerings as Gaslamp Breakfast Company and former North Park Breakfast Company which permanently closed in 2020. The Breakfast Company specializes in Pancake Flights, deluxe Egg Dishes like Fried Rice Benedict, plus Breakfast Cocktails and gourmet coffee drinks.
Little details are available yet on when to solidify your weekend Brunch plans at the new spot in Mission Valley. Rise and Shine CEO Johan Engman could not be reached for comment at the time of publication. We can surely expect eggciting updates on the Breakfast Company Instagram account.
