A unique take on fast-casual cuisine is so close, Ashburn foodies can almost taste it. Signage has been hung and construction is underway on the DMV region’s latest Dig location, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The restaurant is taking over the 2,500 square foot space vacated by Zoe’s Kitchen at 44375 Brimfield Drive. Dig is on track for an early September opening.

Dig offers a healthier option for diners in a hurry. The concept features a rotating seasonal menu that takes advantage of in season ingredients. Guests can choose from plates, salads, and sandwiches, with plenty of optional sides. The fresh choices differ greatly from the burgers and fries many expect from a fast-casual establishment; Dig’s menu includes options ranging from the hot honey chicken plate to the BBQ crispy tofu sandwich.

Started in New York in 2011, Dig has expanded to include 31 stores across the east coast. The eatery currently has DMV locations in Georgetown, DC, and Bethesda, Maryland.
