With three restaurants in Alhambra, Tustin, and West LA, Sichuan Impression is gearing to add its fourth. The Chinese restaurant has received raving reviews about its authentic Sichuan cuisine that transports patrons to the southwestern Chinese province.

Sichuan Impression offers traditional Sichuan cuisine in a contemporary style such as Wok-Fried Kidney with Rattan Paper (pork kidney, rattan pepper, capsicum, fresh bell peppers, celery, scallions); Big Mouth Ginger Frog of Zigong (bullfrog, baby ginger, bell peppers, capsicum, sichuan peppercorn, cilantro); and Mao Cai (prawns, beef tripe, beef, chinese spam, potatoes, lotus roots, cauliflower, baby bamboo shoots, black fungus, cilantro). Appetizers include Home-Style Fried Rice (rice, minced beef, capsicum, eggs, cardamine bean sprouts, scallions) and Impressive Cold Noodles (egg noodles, sprouts, crushed peanuts, scallions); and for dessert, patrons can indulge in the Fried Rice Cake with Brown Sugar or the Cinderella’s Pumpkin Rides (pumpkin, sweet red bun, sesame).

Sichuan Impression will move into the 3,000-square-foot unit B at 235 W Main Street in Alhambra, which had formerly been occupied by fast hotpot restaurant Earth Kitchen. An official opening date has not yet been announced, but we will keep you posted on when you can feast on a delicious bowl of Boiled Fish Fillets in Chili Sauce at the second Alhambra location of Sichuan Impression.
