A developer has filed plans with the city of Los Angeles to build a four-story, 18-unit apartment building in place of two single family homes in the Silver Lake neighborhood, according to a planning case opened by the city this week.
The applicant behind the project, which would rise at 2326 – 2332 Glendale Boulevard, is listed as a company managed by Yosef Simsoly. The company acquired the two-parcel project site in 2016 for $3.35 million, Los Angeles County property records show.
Designed by Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects, the community would total roughly 28,000 square feet and rise to a height of about 45 feet. Plans call for 27 automobile parking spaces in one underground level of parking, along with 38 bicycle stalls.
The project would offer about 3,050 square feet of common open space, including recreational facilities such as picnic tables and other seating areas around the community, plans show.
The project representative is listed as Christopher Murray, a vice president with land use entitlement consulting company Rosenheim & Associates.
