The fast-growing salad micro-chain Simply Salad is expanding to a seventh location in Long Beach, located at 1775 Ximeno Ave.
The Los Angeles-based salad company recently expanded to a sixth location in Gardena, and now they continue to grow with a new 1,649 square-foot space in Long Beach. The latest location will sit in between a Starbucks and Jimmy John’s. Simply Salad signed a five-year lease for the new location starting this month. Salad lovers can expect the new location to open by the end of the year.
Simply Salad started under owners Bruce Teichman and Cameron Lewis back in 2010 at the original location in South Park. Their goal was to change the way salads were experienced. The fast-casual restaurant specializes in custom-built signature salads and wraps at an affordable price. Instead of salads being an expensive alternative, they strive to make these healthy options a more desirable meal.
The slow-spreading salad chain currently has five open locations, most recently opening one in Koreatown. All locations offer a regular and catering menu, making large gatherings much more effortless and healthier for everyone. Some of their signatures, which can be made into either a salad or wrap, include the El Paso with tortilla chips and avocado, The Hipster with goat cheese and candied walnuts, and The Buff with buffalo chicken and jalapenos. Customers can expect to find all of this at the newest location in Long Beach.
