Panini Kabob Grill, a Mediterranean restaurant known for scratch-made kabobs, paninis, pastas, and salads, is getting ready to open a new location in Los Angeles at 888 S. Olive Street.
The new location will sit on the ground floor of Level Los Angeles, Downtown South Olive, according to a liquor license application. An exact opening date has not announced an exact opening date. Customers can expect Panini Kabob Grill’s Mediterranean menu, including freshly grilled kabobs, handcrafted paninis, pastas, salads, hummus, and tzatziki.
The new restaurant will join Panini Kabob Grill’s existing Downtown Los Angeles location at 600 W. 9th Street, along with locations throughout Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County, the Inland Empire, and Kern County. The new South Olive location will give the restaurant a second Downtown Los Angeles location. The company also lists several other locations coming in 2026, including Hollywood Park, Las Vegas, and a Los Angeles location at Wilshire and Fairfax.
Panini Kabob Grill describes its food as Mediterranean cuisine prepared in a true scratch kitchen, with meals made in-house and prepared when customers order. Its kabobs include antibiotic- and hormone-free chicken, all-natural beef, sustainably raised Atlantic salmon, and organic tofu. The restaurant also makes its hummus, tzatziki, salad dressings, and other menu items in-house.
The company’s expansion comes as Panini Kabob Grill continues adding locations across Southern California. In addition to its traditional restaurants, the brand operates digital kitchen locations in Lawndale and Costa Mesa for to-go orders. The company currently lists more than two dozen locations, with additional restaurants planned through 2027.
