Dunkin’ Donuts is taking an old space that previously housed Wendy’s at 2525 Barrett Creek Blvd in Marietta and fully building out the space into one of its own. This will be the ninth location in Marietta alone and is being run by franchisees Stephen Attard and James Laskaris, who have franchised out many other locations around the Atlanta metro.

The estimated cost of renovating the old Wendy’s space is about $150,000 and will see work done to both the interior and exterior — including electrical, plumbing, heating, and air. According to the building permits, Hamby Architecture & Design, Inc’s Paul Hamby is handling the renovations. Dunkin’ Donuts has had several big projects in the Atlanta-metro recently with new locations popping up in the 29-story mixed-use Hanover Midtown at 881 Peachtree Street NE, as well as a Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin-Robbins.

As of right now, no opening timeline is yet known for the Marietta location’s opening. What Now Atlanta reached out to Attard and Laskaris, neither of whom immediately responded for comment.
