Adriano Paganini of Back of the House restaurant group has been quite busy these past few years. In addition to opening more Super Dupers in the Bay Area and debuting Wildseed’s second location in Palo Alto last month, Paganini is already working on his next venture.

Taking over the 3,351 square-foot space that was formerly The Grove at 301 Hayes St., the yet-to-be-named concept is scheduled to open this summer as a casual alternative to Wildseed.

“What I’ve learned is how delicious plant-based food can be, how good it makes you feel,” Paganini told San Francisco Business Times. “Sometimes you want something still very good but simpler in the sense of experience, a little bit faster. It will be a nice, fine casual restaurant.”

Expect a menu composed of salads, bowls, and “handhelds.” This project will mark the 33rd restaurant within Paganini’s portfolio. We will post an update if we acquire more information.
