Sourdough & Co. in Berkeley has finally opened! Located at 2509 Haste St. off Telegraph Avenue, the new shop is finally up and running. Owners Manni Singh and Karen Kaur are welcoming new customers to try their fresh-baked sourdough bread, which is used to create their satisfying sandwiches and comforting bread bowl soups.
Sourdough & Co. serves sandwiches with top quality turkey, roast beef, pastrami, or chicken, as well as fresh, premium soups of the day alongside daily New England Clam Chowder. They also carry seasonal items as well, such as the Shrimp & Corn Chowder which is currently available for a limited time.
The menu includes a hearty selection of salads, plus macaroni and cheese. This Sourdough & Co. location is just across the street from People’s Park and a few short blocks down from the south side of UC Berkeley’s campus. It is the perfect option if you’re looking for a quick and easy picnic lunch, or a delicious break from all your studies.
