Raising Cane’s continues to expand throughout Los Angeles, adding a new restaurant in NoHo Arts District, at 4829 N Lankershim Blvd.

The Baton-Rouge-based American fast-food chain recently announced new locations coming to Burbank and Central Hollywood. Now, CEO Todd Graves is opening yet another 1,800 square-foot corporate-owned location sometime towards the end of the year, according to a company representative. Raising Cane’s continues to push itself through the chicken sandwich wars by adding even more locations in the country. Currently, the company has over 600 locations across the United States, with many more on the way.

According to a case filing recently submitted to the City of Los Angeles Planning Department, the new Raising Cane’s will have a drive-thru plus outdoor seating in a patio area. The new restaurant will also have space for six parking spots as well as seven short-term bicycle parking spaces. The drive-thru will wrap around the building and can hold up to 18 cars at once.

Before the approval from the City of Los Angeles Planning Department, the company faced harsh feedback from the public during a virtual public hearing that occurred on September 15, 2021. Mainly, residents felt the addition of another fast-food restaurant was unnecessary and contradicted the healthy lifestyle around them. Residents wanted to construct more housing in the 21,500 square-foot lot instead. After agreements and further discussion, Raising Cane’s was able to recently have their plans approved, officially allowing them to move forward.
