It’s 4:20 somewhere and Cheba Hut “Toasted” Subs is preparing to roll up a new spot. The cannabis-themed sandwich shop near SDSU teased a new location was coming soon via their Instagram Stories.
Multi-unit franchisees Ryan Snyder and Jordan Robinson recently closed their Pacific Beach location back in August after 8 years in business in the coastal neighborhood. Now, the College Area Cheba Hut looks to be on the move with either a relocation or second local hut.
The sneak peek shares sketches of what we can only imagine is a vision board for their next spot. The pencil-drawn images show an entryway to a uniquely San Diego theme, with smoke-clouded images of Ron Burgundy.
Cheba Hut has been satisfying the munchies since 1998, growing from a college neighborhood in Arizona to upwards of 45 locations across the Western United States. Cheba Hut serves an array of toasted sandwiches on freshly baked Parisian bread, and served alongside your pick of Kool-Aid flavors to cure your cottonmouth.
No additional details are confirmed yet about the latest Cheba Hut location. Stay tuned for more information by following Cheba Hut San Diego on Instagram.
