3CAT Handcrafted Beverage, a bubble tea shop specializing in handcrafted drinks, is working on new locations in San Diego at 9420 Mira Mesa Boulevard, Unit C, and in San Marcos at 740 Nordahl Road, Suite 111.
The company recently submitted documents to the San Diego Department of Environmental Health and Quality for both locations. The San Marcos shop will replace Edible Arrangements in Plaza San Marcos, while details about the Mira Mesa location are limited. An exact opening date for either location has not been announced.
The new projects come as 3CAT continues expanding its presence in the San Diego area. What Now recently reported that the company is also working on a Rancho Bernardo location at 16449 Bernardo Center Dr., in the former home of Daboba. That location is set to become 3CAT’s second San Diego shop, following the company’s existing location at 4917 Convoy St.
3CAT describes itself as a tea shop focused on quality ingredients and handcrafted preparation. The company uses organic milk from Straus and fresh fruit from local farmers, and makes its toppings daily in-house. Its offerings include handcrafted beverages, handmade mochis, and its signature mousse.
The company currently lists locations in City of Industry, San Gabriel, Chino Hills, Los Angeles, Arcadia, Tustin, San Diego, and Milpitas. The San Diego shop on Convoy Street is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to the company’s website. The new Mira Mesa and San Marcos locations would add to 3CAT’s growing local presence.
For the San Marcos location, the company will take over the former Edible Arrangements space in Plaza San Marcos. The company has not yet announced additional details about the new shops, including opening dates, hours, and specific menus.
