Knockout Deli is planning for a second location in San Diego. According to a recent permit filing, the quick-service deli will replace Cafe Alvarado at the base of the Iconic on Alvarado student apartment complex near San Diego State University.
The New York style deli currently operates one location as part of Mesa Liquor on Convoy Street in Kearny Mesa. Knockout Deli also offers customized platters and catering services for any occasion.
Knockout Deli’s menu features a wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches, healthy wraps, loaded salads, and breakfast items. Their line of Deli Knockouts include 1 lb. sandwiches named after notorious mafia figures like John Gotti and Al Capone.
