Serrano’s Cocina Y Cantina, the popular Austin-based Tex-Mex brand, will be undergoing extensive renovations at its Lakeline location, according to recent public records. The restaurant is located at 11100 Pecan Park Blvd, near the intersection of 45 and 183.

Public records examined by What Now Austin state “Existing restaurant to receive interior renovation of 4,234 SF on customer-facing spaces, exterior material, and patio extension. Kitchen/back of house not in scope. MEP to be handled through trade permit.”

What Now Austin reached out to Joshua Camacho, VP of Serrano’s, to inquire about these changes and how they will most directly affect the customer experience, but he was not immediately available for comment.

“Founded in 1987, Serranos is a Mexican restaurant and bar that merges family recipes with broader Mexican traditions,” the official website states.

“With handmade tortillas, the signature flavor of food prepared on a mesquite grill, and an unwavering commitment to sourcing the highest-quality ingredients possible, Serranos serves scratch-made recipes in an atmosphere bursting with life.”
