First Watch is expanding its daytime dining empire through Delaware. The restaurant chain plans to add two new locations; the first in Wilmington, followed by another in Newark.

First Watch will open at 3660 Concord Pike in Wilmington this summer. A representative of the company spoke to What Now Philadelphia about the new location and what customers can expect, stating “The dining room in this new location will feature First Watch’s ‘urban farm’ design, bringing the rustic feel of a farmhouse with the modern elements of an urban loft.”

First Watch adds “Ever since we opened the doors to our first Delaware restaurant in Newark four years ago, First Watch has seen just how responsive customers have been to our unique brunch offering, so we cannot wait to bring that experience to more of our neighbors in Wilmington.”

First Watch specializes in breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The award-winning dining concept crafts made-to-order meals from fresh ingredients.

First Watch places a heavy emphasis on seasonal dishes. The menu changes five times annually to ensure the freshest sourced ingredients.

The establishment will feature a wide variety of fresh fruit and vegetables juices. First Watch serves Project Sunrise Coffee, a product that benefits South American communities.

The new location will continue First Watch’s brunch cocktail program, offering an unusual array of signature mixed drinks like cinnamon toast cereal milk and blackberry bramble sangria.

First Watch guests can expect to enjoy delicious dishes like avocado toast, smoked salmon eggs benedict, farm stand breakfast tacos and lemon ricotta pancakes.

First Watch currently has over 470 restaurants across 29 states. The Delaware locations will be company-owned and run.

The restaurant plans to open it’s fourth Delaware location at 361 College Square in Newark in 2024.
