According to a recent news release, another confirmed restaurant tenant will be joining Antioch’s Tanger Factory Outlet shopping mall, a location of the Canadian-based Eggspectation. The popular brunch spot serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as offering craft cocktails with a full bar.
According to Julie Ann Lincoln, Eggspectation’s VP of Development and Marketing, the Antioch location of Eggspectation will be corporately operated and is currently looking to fill the position of this location’s general manager. The expected opening timeline is spring of 2024, although an exact date is too far out to determine.
The Eggspectation brand has a global presence and eight current locations stateside, with one on the way opening this fall in Charlotte.
“We are an international concept with restaurants in Dubai, Egypt, Qatar, Pakistan, Canada, and the U.S. We started in Montreal and our owner Enzo Renda still resides there. Our U.S. corporate office is currently located in Owings Mills, MD. Just outside of Baltimore. In the U.S. we are present in Texas, Delaware, Virginia, and Maryland. We are opening in Charlotte, NC late this fall,” Lincoln stated in an email.
Customers can expect Eggspectation’s menu to offer quality ingredients and housemade dishes such as lobster eggs benedict, lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes, a wide variety of salads, sandwiches, pizza, crepes, pasta, and more.
“We are passionate about food and quality! Despite the name, we are so much more than eggs. We have a full bar with craft cocktails and an extensive dinner menu. We only serve 100% real maple syrup, real butter, and egg hollandaise, cage-free brown eggs and those are just a sample of our commitment to clean, real ingredients,” Lincoln said.
