A new Magic Cup Cafe is in the works for Arlington. The cafe that offers coffee, bubble tea, fruit smoothies, and more strives “for a wholesome approach with fresh local goods, a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a warm, inviting atmosphere,” according to the brand’s website.
The menu features a variety of flavorful coffees and handcrafted espresso, Special-teas—green tea mixed with fresh fruit—and frappes topped with whipped cream and premium sauces. The Cha-Signature selection offers flavored smoothies topped with fruit bits and a candy straw.
Magic Cup Cafe’s new space at just over 1,900 square feet will be located at 3970 N. Collins St. at Waters Edge at Viridian. Construction on the first-generation restaurant space in an existing shell building could wrap up next spring, according to a recent project filing.
Magic Cup Cafe has three locations in operation—McKinney, Richardson, and Houston—according to the brand’s website. The company announced last year that franchisee Vinay Calyampoondi would open a location in Southlake. Calyampoondi, who also owns the Southlake Cold Stone Creamery, is listed as the tenant at the new Magic Cup Cafe planned for Arlington.
