With more than 50 locations in the United Kingdom, Black Sheep Coffee is set to soon debut in central Texas. The store will be located at 600 Guadalupe St, within Suite 150.

“Usually, companies that are successful in the U.K. always open in New York,” co-founder Gabriel Shohet told the Dallas Morning News in 2023 regarding the brand’s initial move to Texas. “We looked at all the data and we felt like, actually, Texas is on the rise of all states in the U.S.”

Construction notes state the project will consist of a “tenant finish out of lease space which is previously been vacant. The space will be a coffee shop with a kitchen and a small dining area. Some existing lighting is being removed. The rest of the work is new construction.”

Costing an estimated $450,000, the location is expected to be completed by the end of October.

No opening date has been set.
