According to a recent permit application, a new eatery listed as India Bazaar is preparing to open in Leander.
Coming to 14300 Ronald Reagan Boulevard, Building 5, the restaurant will land near establishments such as Chowrastha – Indian Eatery, Hashtag India, and The Williamson County Bagel Company.
What Now Austin reached out to the concept’s owner, Mahan Basnet, to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, public records reveal that the “interior finish-out design for a 11130-square-foot new shell building for a grocery store use” is scheduled to begin on March 1, 2025, and finish on December 1 — and will cost an estimated $500,000 to carry out.
An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
